Speculative and Unpersuasive

A court ruling recently declared that vaccines aren't to blame for autism.
I'm glad to see that the court decided to take a look at the evidence for the case that vaccines and autism are directly related, and turned a skeptical eye to this potentially dangerous idea.

To win, they had to show that it was more likely than not that the autism symptoms were directly related to the measles-mumps-rubella shots they received.

But the court concluded that "the weight of scientific research and authority" was "simply more persuasive on nearly every point in contention."

I do hope people are willing to look at where the evidence leads us, rather than rely on magical thinking for important topics such as vaccine-autism correlations
